Senior CBI officers probing case against Asthana transferred

Senior CBI officers who were investigating the bribery case against CBI Special Director Rakesh Asthana are among the 13 officers of the agency who have been transferred. These include Investigating Officer Ajay Bassi, Joint Director Arun Sharma and Deputy Inspector General Manish Sinha. This comes hours after the Centre on Wednesday sent Asthana and CBI chief Alok Verma on leave.
