Senior Houthi commander, 6 aides killed in Saudi airstrike near Bab el-Mandeb

Senior Houthi commander Firaq Mohsen al-Assar and six of his aides were killed in an airstrike near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in southwestern Yemen, a Yemeni official said. The rebel group did not confirm the death; however, several Houthi supporters mourned al-Assar's death on social media. As many as 30 Houthi rebels have reportedly been killed in the recent clashes.
