Senior journalist Rajagopal says he's 'voteless & passportless' after name deletion in WB SIR

Veteran journalist R Rajagopal, former editor of The Telegraph, said he feels "voteless, passportless, kicked around like a football" after his name was deleted in West Bengal SIR. "If your name's not in the SIR, don't come to us for passport," the authorities allegedly told him when he applied for renewal. Rajagopal has reportedly been living in Kolkata for decades.
