Senior sweepers in T'gana earning ₹2 lakh/month: Official as he flags state's expenses

Senior Class 4 employees in Telangana, including sweepers, earn around ₹2 lakh per month, and chief engineers earn up to ₹7 lakh, the state's Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao claimed as he flagged rising state expenses. He stated that the salaries and pensions in Telangana have risen by nearly 300% since Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
