Sensex, Nifty end higher as Trump hints at early end of Iran war

Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended in green on Tuesday. The Sensex closed 640 points, or 0.82%, higher at 78,206, while the Nifty 50 index gained 234 points, or 0.97%, to end the session at 24,262. Notably, both indices opened higher today after US President Donald Trump said the Iran war could end soon.
