Sensex crashed over 1,300 points to end at 76,863.71 on Wednesday, causing investors to lose nearly ₹4,92,160 crore amid the fuel crisis sparked by the Middle East war. Meanwhile, Nifty crashed 1.63% to end below the 23,900-mark. "There is still considerable geopolitical uncertainty and that is why markets are basically on edge," a market expert said.
