Sensex breaks 3-day losing streak over Iran's peace proposal to US

The BSE Sensex and Nifty50 indices snapped a three-session losing streak to end 639 points and 195 points higher on Monday, respectively. This comes after Iran reportedly offered a three-stage peace proposal to the US. Additionally, the Nifty Pharma led the gain with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries emerging as the top gainer after announcing a major $11.75-billion deal to acquire Organon.
