Sensex crashes 900 points, ₹6 lakh crore wiped in single session

BSE Sensex closed at 76,200 points, losing 893 points or 1.16%, while NIFTY 50 fell 1.16% or 278 points to 23,824 on June 23. This sharp decline wiped nearly ₹6 lakh crore from the market in a single day. This comes after India's services activity fell to a 17-month low, while manufacturing growth slowed to a three-month low in June.
