Sensex dips 1,200 points at close, Nifty ends 1.37% lower as Trump takes oath

Sensex and Nifty ended in the red as both indices fell 1.6% and 1.37% respectively on Tuesday. Sensex was down over 1,200 points to close at 75,838.36 and Nifty dipped 320 points to close above 23,000. This comes a day after Donald Trump, who threatened 100% tariffs on BRICS nations including India, took oath as 47th President of the US.
