Sensex dips more to go below 82,000 after Tue's 1,000-point crash
Sensex opened in the red on Wednesday after closing more than 1,000 points lower at 82,180.47 on Tuesday amid rising geopolitical tensions. The benchmark index opened at 81,794.65, while Nifty opened at 25,141.00, down from the previous session's close of 25,232.50. Trent, Bharat Electronics Limited and ICICI Bank are among the biggest losers on the Sensex as of 9:55 AM.
