Sensex ends 200 points higher after Economic Survey published

Sensex ended 221 points higher at 82,566.37 on Thursday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released the Economic Survey 2026. Earlier in the day, the benchmark index had dipped by over 600 points. Nifty also closed 0.3% higher at 25,418.90. Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro and Axis Bank emerged among the biggest winners on the Sensex.
