Sensex falls over 500 points to end in red, Nifty sinks 133 points

BSE Sensex plunged nearly 504 points on Thursday, while Nifty fell by over 133 points. This comes as the sell-off in global technology shares, kicked off by Anthropic's 11 new open-source plugins for its Claude Cowork platform, continued. BSE IT index fell by over 266 points, whereas the Nifty IT index fell by over 202 points.
