Sensex gains 700 pts to end 6-day losing streak, Nifty up 230 pts

Sensex gained over 700 points on Tuesday to break its six-day-long streak of recording losses. The Indian benchmark index hit an intraday high of 81,763.28. Nifty also recorded gains, rising around 230 points to hit 25,024.45. Shares of Zudio's parent Trent were the top gainers on the stock markets, rising around 8%.
