Sensex jumps 2,700 points after US-Iran ceasefire, investors earn ₹14.2 lakh crore in a minute
Sensex opened nearly 2,700 points higher on Wednesday after Iran and US agreed to extend a ceasefire for two weeks. The index opened near 77,300 level, with IndiGo, L&T, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance and UltraTech Cement being the top gainers. Meanwhile, Nifty opened over 700 points higher at 23,855.15. Investors earned ₹14.23 lakh crore in a minute as Sensex jumped.
