Indian markets opened higher on Wednesday, with Sensex jumping over 700 points and reaching 74,682, while the Nifty 50 rose to 23,120. This rise came amid US President Donald Trump's statement claiming US and India are "pretty close" to finalising a trade deal. This comes after the stock market crashed on Monday wiping out investor wealth of ₹4 lakh crore.
