Sensex opens 800 points higher as Trump signals Iran war may end soon

Sensex opened 800 points higher to reach 78,375.73 on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump said the Iran war could end soon. The surge comes a day after the benchmark index dipped more than 1,000 points. Nifty also opened 1% higher. Other Asian indices, including South Korea's KOSPI and Japan's Nikkei, also recovered slightly.
