Sensex opens in green, jumps 500 points in rally led by IT stocks

The Indian stock market opened in the green on Friday, driven by a rally in IT stocks. The BSE Sensex, which opened higher at 77,370.77, climbed over 500 points to an intraday high of 77,718.66, while the Nifty 50 started the session above the 24,100 mark. Nearly all IT stocks traded in the green, with HCL Technologies leading the gains.
