BSE Sensex closed 364 points lower at 76,391 on Thursday, after touching an intraday high of 76,727 followed by an intraday low of 76,152. Similarly, Nifty 50 fell 127 points to 23,870 after an intraday high of 23,991 and a low of 23,807. The volatility can be mainly attributed to escalating tensions in West Asia and surging crude oil prices.
