Indian benchmark indices ended higher for the second consecutive session on Tuesday. At the close, the Sensex was up 567.99 points or 0.75%, at 76,070.84, and the Nifty was up 172.35 points or 0.74%, at 23,581.15. The rupee also ended marginally higher at 92.42 per US dollar. Shares of Eternal, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Bharat Electronics gained on BSE.
