Indian benchmark indices ended in green on Wednesday. At close, Sensex was up by 633.29 points at 76,704.13, and the Nifty was up by 196.65 points at 23,777.80. The rise comes after sharp buying in IT shares, with India VIX falling by 5%. Sensex hit a high of as much as 77,000.22 points while Nifty hit 23,862.25 points.
