Sensex tanks 1,547 points to end in red despite recovering 823 points after Budget speech

BSE Sensex tanked nearly 1,547 points, despite recovering 823 points from the day's low, to end in red at 80,722.94 on Sunday. The stock market had bled over 2,300 points after the Union Budget 2026 presentation. Nifty also ended in red at 24,825.45 after falling 495.20 points. TCS and Infosys were among the only gainers on BSE.
