Sensex up 700 points, Nifty above 23,500 as Trump pauses tariffs

Sensex jumped around 700 points in early trade on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump paused tariffs on Canada and Mexico. Nifty also surged by around 200 points to jump above the 23,500 mark. This comes a day after benchmark indices ended in red over concerns about tariffs starting a broader trade war.
