Sergey Brin sells $79 mn NYC real estate fund's stake for 6 cents on dollar

Google co-founder Sergey Brin exited a real estate fund by selling his stake back to manager A&E Real Estate at six cents on the dollar. The fund owns 5,900 rent-stabilised apartments, and Brin's holding was valued at about $79 million. His exit came a month after Zohran Mamdani won mayor elections on a pledge to freeze rents for regulated units.
