Several Bengaluru residents oppose ban on pets inside Cubbon Park

Over 5,250 people have demanded the withdrawal of Karnataka government's proposal to ban pets inside Bengaluru's Cubbon Park. A high-level committee had recently decided to enforce the ban after many walkers and joggers complained that dogs were allowed to roam freely in the park. Banners about the ban are expected to be installed at the park's gates from July 1.
