Several men arrested, homes evacuated in major incident at UK base hosting US Air Force

A major incident has been declared, and homes have been evacuated in a village near the RAF base in UK's Gloucestershire, which hosts the US Air Force. Several men have been arrested on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act. Notably, Iran had warned in July against allowing US bombers to operate from the base.
