Several people protest against new UGC norms in Delhi, claim police manhandling them

A protest against new UGC regulations has been called in Delhi, with several people involved in the agitation claiming that leaders were put on house arrest a day earlier. People shared videos on X purportedly showing police manhandling the protesters. On Saturday, Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Priyanka Chaturvedi said she learnt that authorities are discouraging the protest, citing security reasons.
