Several vehicles buried after flash floods block Doda-Kishtwar highway in J&K

Flash floods following heavy overnight rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir damaged and blocked a portion of the Doda-Kishtwar highway on Monday, disrupting traffic and burying vehicles, including trucks and bulldozers, near the under-construction Kwar Hydroelectric Project. Kishtwar district also saw a major landslide. Road clearance is underway while commuters have been told to avoid the highway.
