Severe waterlogging in parts of Pune, more rain likely on Saturday

Heavy rainfall caused severe waterlogging in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad area, disrupting daily life. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued red and orange alerts for several Maharashtra districts as the southwest monsoon intensifies. Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected along the Konkan coast.
