Sex doll on Thai beach mistaken for dead woman in Maldives

A photo purporting to show the corpse of a naked woman on a beach went viral as a photo from Maldives. BOOM found that the photo showed a Japanese sex doll found in Thailand in August 2022. The posts spread amid the India-Maldives row, after three Maldivian ministers left derogatory comments under PM Modi's post about Lakshadweep.
