Sex ratio at birth went from 918 to 931 in five years: Irani

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani on Friday said the Sex Ratio at Birth (SRB) has improved by 13 points from 918 to 931 in the past five years. Irani attributed the success to the Centre's 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Rajasthan reportedly performed well in improving the SRB.
