SGPC gives ₹1.53cr to families of farmers who died in protest

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has given ₹1 lakh each to 153 families of farmers who have died at Delhi borders while protesting against farm laws. SGPC also provided 23 injured farmers ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 depending on the injuries. "We form a committee to probe the claim after which the compensation is paid," an SGPC spokesperson said.
