Shafali Verma becomes youngest player to appear in ICC World Cup final

India Women opener Shafali Verma has become the youngest cricketer (male or female) to play in an ICC World Cup final. Shafali achieved the feat at 16 years and 40 days after featuring in 2020 Women's T20 World Cup final against Australia today. She broke the record previously held by West Indies Women's Shaquana Quintyne (17 years and 45 days).
