Shahid Kapoor-starrer 'Deva' earns ₹5 crore on Day 1

Shahid Kapoor-starrer 'Deva' has collected ₹5 crore on its opening day. The film has failed to beat the first-day number of Shahid's previous release 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. 'Deva' recorded an overall 10.24% occupancy in its Hindi version. The film, which is the remake of Malayalam film 'Mumbai Police', also stars Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulatie and Pravessh Rana.
