Shakira, Gerard Piqué separate after 12 years of relationship amid cheating rumours

Singer Shakira and footballer Gerard Piqué said on Saturday that they are separating after 12 years of relationship. "We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we request respect for (our) privacy," they said in a statement. This comes amid reports that Shakira caught Piqué cheating on her.
