Shammi once raised fee by 66% as producer tried negotiating: Rahul

Director Rahul Rawail recalled that actor Shammi Kapoor raised his fee from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh as producer Dharmendra tried negotiating his fee for the film 'Betaab'. "Shammi ji smiled and said that ‘think of this as your penalty’. And Dharam ji had to agree," Rawail stated, adding that Kapoor did not like negotiating with producers.
