Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital amid NCP merger rumours

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was discharged from Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday after receiving treatment for a chest infection for three days. His discharge comes amid reports of a potential merger between the two NCP factions, Sharad Pawar's and the Sunetra Pawar-led faction. Pawar was initially admitted to Pune's Ruby Hall Clinic on Tuesday.
