Sharad Pawar to represent Opposition in lone Rajya Sabha seat in Maharashtra

Congress has backed NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar as Opposition’s candidate for the March 16 Rajya Sabha polls. Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar said the decision followed directions from the party high command and chief Mallikarjun Kharge, ANI reported. This comes after disagreement between Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance constituents regarding lone winnable Rajya Sabha seat for Opposition in Maharashtra.
