Shardul Thakur would give depth to India's batting line-up: Laxman

Ex-India cricketer VVS Laxman has said India should play all-rounder Shardul Thakur in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup. "Shardul can give runs with the bat, and he's a wicket-taking option. It also increases the depth in the batting," Laxman explained. "Bhuvneshwar is experienced....but if you think about the balance...I'd prefer Shardul," he added.
