ShareChat buys video-making app Clip to rival TikTok: Report

Bengaluru-based vernacular social and content platform ShareChat has reportedly acquired Transversal Tech-owned video sharing app Clip in an all-cash deal to rival existing platforms like TikTok. ShareChat will reportedly integrate Clip app into its product and its users will also be integrated after the acquisition. Founded in March 2017, Clip app allows users to create and edit videos.
