Sharing Google Maps location with police can't be a bail condition: SC

The Supreme Court on Monday said there can't be a bail condition enabling police to constantly track an accused's location and "virtually peep" into the accused's privacy. A two-judge bench set aside the bail condition requiring the accused to share Google Maps PIN with the investigating officer. "There can't be bail condition defeating the very objective of bail," SC added.
