Shashi Tharoor to be conferred Le’gion d’honneur by France

Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor will be conferred the Insignia of Chevalier de la Le’gion d’honneur (National Order of the Legion of Honour) by France on the evening of Tuesday, 20 February. It is the highest order of merit awarded by the European nation. Tharoor received a similar honour from the Spanish government in 2010.
