Shatrujeet Kapoor becomes new H'yana DGP, succeeds PK Agrawal

IPS officer Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor has been appointed as Haryana's Director General of Police with immediate effect. He will be succeeding PK Agrawal, who retired from the post on August 15 after completing a two-year term. Earlier this month, Nuh Superintendent of Police Varun Singla was transferred to Bhiwani after communal clashes broke out in Nuh on July 31.
