Sheep reportedly outnumber people by three to one in Wales, United Kingdom. The number of sheep is believed to have risen by almost two million over the last seven years, currently amounting to 9.81 million in comparison to 3.02 million people. The highest sheep population in Wales was recorded in the 1990s when their number reached about 12 million.
