Shehla Rashid criticises Tharoor for his 'Islamist extremism' remark

Activist Shehla Rashid has criticised Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, saying he would have asked Mahatma Gandhi to wear a British suit and Martin Luther King to wear light-coloured foundation before fighting for constitutional rights. Tharoor had said, "Our fight against Hindutva extremism should give no comfort to Islamist extremism either", on chanting of 'La ilaha illallah' in anti-CAA protests.
