Shehzad Poonawalla, a long-time national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has reportedly resigned from the party. Poonawalla tendered his resignation to the top brass of the BJP and cited personal reasons behind the decision, reports said. His X bio no longer mentions the BJP. However, he continues to describe himself as a "lifelong follower" of PM Narendra Modi.
