Sheikh Hasina's Bangladesh residence turned into museum

Ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina's residence has been turned into a memorial museum to commemorate victims of the student-led protests in 2024. Bangladesh PM Tarique Rahman inaugurated the 'July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum' on August 5, the day she fled for India in 2024. A UN report had said that around 1,400 people died in the student-led protests in 2024.
