Sheikha Al Nowais elected as 1st woman Secy General of UN Tourism

UAE business leader Sheikha Nasser Al Nowais has been elected as the next Secretary-General of UN Tourism. This nomination represents a landmark first for the sector, as she becomes first female UN Tourism head. A graduate of Zayed University in Finance, Nowais chairs Abu Dhabi Chamber's Tourism Working Group and has over 16 years of experience in global hospitality.
