Shell CEO's pay package drops by 42% to $7 mn in 2020

Shell CEO Ben van Beurden’s pay package dropped by 42% to $6.93 million in 2020. This comes after the oil company was also pushed to a historic dividend cut and a collapse in profits due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Van Beurden’s total remuneration for 2019 was nearly $11.9 million, which was already a 51% drop from the previous year.
