Shilpa Biologicals to develop nivolumab biosimilar for Europe

Shilpa Biologicals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shilpa Medicare, has signed a co-development and supply agreement with Orion Corporation for an IV nivolumab biosimilar targeting Europe's $4.1 billion immuno-oncology market. Shilpa will lead development and manufacturing, while Orion will hold exclusive marketing and distribution rights across Europe.
