West Indies batter Shimron Hetmyer on Monday created history by smashing the fastest fifty by a West Indies batter in T20 World Cups. The 29-year-old took 19 deliveries to reach his half century in the T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight match against Zimbabwe. The previous record was also held by Hetmyer (22 deliveries).
